The homemade Belgian waffles at breakfast were a delightful treat that we looked forward to each morning.
Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness of the hotel was concerning, with visible trash in both the indoor and outdoor areas.

Those homemade Belgian waffles were a game changer! Plus, we loved the spacious Standard Queen Room for family bonding. Denny's is just a hop away for a quick bite!
But, whoa, the place had trash all over and a funky smell that didn’t quite add to the charm. Still, you can't beat the waffle fix before heading out!

Man, what a weird stay! The room had some serious cleanliness issues, like no trash can and a funky smell. Honestly, I was just glad to have a roof over my head.

I stayed in the Standard Queen Room for 2 nights. The room was spacious, providing ample room for my family to stretch out and relax. We enjoyed using the air conditioning since it was warm outside. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade Belgian waffles that tasted fantastic. However, there were significant cleanliness issues. There was visible trash in both the indoor and outdoor areas, and the room had an unpleasant smell. The absence of a trash can, iron, or ironing board felt inconvenient. The bathroom cleanliness was below standard too, with only one towel available at first. We were constantly disturbed by noise from people in the halls, likely due to the busy elevator traffic. Despite the nice room layout and the delicious breakfast, the messiness of the place really detracted from our experience.

perfect spot for weekend explorations and park views
The hotel is conveniently close to the beautiful Indiana State Police Museum, just about 1 km away, which was a pleasant walking distance. we also enjoyed the nearby options for dining like Denny's, less than a 5-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to grab a bite after a day of exploring.

The location offers easy access to nearby dining options like Denny's, making it convenient for grabbing meals. The balcony outside provided a nice touch for some fresh air amid the chaos.
The place had trash littering the grounds both inside and out, not exactly a great first impression. Halls carried the unmistakable smell of pot and cigarette smoke, which made roaming around less than pleasant. The standard queen room lacked a trash can, iron, or ironing board, which felt outdated. The bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired, with only one towel available until a request was made, and the overall smell in the room was off-putting. The elevator traffic was continuously busy, as guests came and went swiftly, adding to a chaotic atmosphere.

The Standard Queen Room was pretty comfy for our two-night stay. The bed was nice, and we had plenty of space to stretch out. The only hiccup was a faint funky smell that lingered. Still, the coziness made it a decent spot to chill after our day out.
